I am a ceramic artist. I am focusing on using porcelain to wheel-thrown tableware from the children's perspective. Children’s happiness and unhappiness are very straightforward, and everything related with Children seem to be lovely, high purity and tender colors. I almost do the works to make them look cute and elaborate. In the process of decoration, I prefer to use silk printmaking to make the underglaze transfer on the rice paper as the decorative pattern. These patterns are usually cute and playful, sometimes, the colorful geometric pattern is another good choice for me. After the basic fire, I use medium temperature transparent glaze to glaze potteries, which make the works look shiny and the underglaze decoration patterns also could be seen. The last, firing all glazed potteries in the kiln setting cone 6 about 1200.

Every pottery needs abundant preparation, making clay, kneading, throwing, trimming, glazing, and firing, which is a complicated process making me calm. I really enjoy that, and I can find a sense of achievement and existence. The image of animals and sunflower is my favorite decoration because of the bright color and vivid image, which show a happy feeling. I hope everyone who sees and using my works to feel happy and childlike, even if they are complaining to the life, my works could warm them to smile like a child so that they continue to love the world.
