Bachelor of Fine Arts - Painting, Printmaking, and Photography
Time and the emotions happening within it are two things I think about a lot. Often not just wondering what causes those feelings, but what they might look like.
Through the mediums of painting, printmaking, and photography, I often use color, line, and texture to explore these ideas. The language of color can be rather clear at points, but the layering and textures on top of it can add to the sometimes messy and visceral nature of these feelings. Line is used to represent either a sense of connectivity between feelings or events, or the sometimes endless feeling that comes with time.
In one way or another, these themes are most prevalent in my work and the ones that I have found to be most interesting to explore.
